But volunteering isn't just about trail work—there are many ways to help out, from organizing events and fundraising to community outreach and education. Every bit of effort makes a big difference, and we’re incredibly grateful for the passion and dedication of our volunteers. Join us and be a part of something special!
ANYONE
CAN HELP WITH TRAILS AND BEYOND
At our trail network, anyone can volunteer—regardless of age, identity, or skill set. We welcome everyone to join our community and contribute in whatever way they can. Volunteering can be as simple as reporting trail conditions, working at fundraising events, or helping out with the Gear Library. There’s a role for everyone, and every bit of help makes a huge difference. Your unique skills and perspectives are valuable to us, and together, we can keep our trails and community thriving. Join us and make a positive impact!
GOT TOOLS?
As a non-profit, our resources are limited, so we deeply appreciate any and all volunteers who can bring their own tools or supply other materials on volunteer days or at events. Your support helps us stretch our resources further and make a bigger impact. Whether it's bringing a shovel, gloves, or even just a positive attitude, every contribution is valuable. We rely on the generosity and dedication of our community to keep our trails in top shape and our events running smoothly. Thank you for your support!
TRAIL DAYS
Volunteer days are a great way to give back and enjoy the outdoors! We start by meeting at the trailhead parking lot in the morning. Please bring closed-toed shoes, water, gloves, and bug spray. Our leaders will go over the day's goals and work plan, then we'll break into teams based on tasks. Volunteer work usually lasts about 4 to 6 hours, so be prepared to walk a few miles, carry heavy loads, and cut through the woods. Some days, the bugs can be bad and the heat intense, so come prepared. We always strive to accommodate everyone's needs to the best of our abilities. Join us for a rewarding day of trail work and community building!
WHAT THEY LOOK LIKE
BENEFITS
We love to show our appreciation for our incredible volunteers! After a hard day's work on the trails, we always try to treat our volunteers to a well-deserved beer and meal at one of the local restaurants. Sometimes, we even have sponsored trail days by mountain bike companies that offer free swag to our dedicated helpers. If you’re a business interested in sponsoring a volunteer day, we’d love to hear from you. Your support helps us continue to reward our amazing volunteers and keep our trails in great shape. Thank you for being a part of our community!
